Recent Projects and Collaborations
We are excited about our current projects and those coming up in the future. We recently conducted a workshop “ORGANIZING FOR JUSTICE: FROM THE INDIVIDUAL TO THE ORGANIZATION TO THE BROADER COMMUNITY” with the Westchester Square Partnership, a South Asian organization that focuses on issues that affect the South Asian community, such as health, through the lens of social justice and PAR. We look forward to building and continuing our relationship with WSPNYC and potential future projects.
Invited by the National Coalition For School Diversity, PARCEO was recently at the NAME conference in Philadelphia, discussing the connections between multicultural education, integration and desegregation efforts, and organize for equity and access, with PARCEO focusing on the on-the-ground-organizing by parents and educators in the District 3, NYC community. It was a wonderful beginning to many discussions we plan to have in the near future. See link below.
